Join the TPC26 Satellite Event at LRZ! (June 2)

Announcement of the LRZ Satellite Event for the TPC26.

This year’s TPC26 takes place in Baltimore, but the LRZ is offering an alternative in Europe: the TPC26 Satellite Event. So, if you can’t attend in the US, join the LRZ on June 2 for a full-day viewing event from 9:30 to 18:30, featuring the TPC26 plenary sessions.

Participants are invited to watch the recorded opening plenaries together in the morning, followed by a chance to connect and exchange ideas over lunch. In the afternoon, the program continues with the live stream from Baltimore, also including a keynote delivered from LRZ that will be broadcast back to the US audience. After the conference, all attendees will receive access to a recording of the Closing Plenary on 3 June, ensuring they don’t miss any key moments. Curious? Find the detailed agenda here.

What is TPC?

The Trillion Parameter Consortium (TPC) is a global, community-led initiative that is open to new participants, bringing together researchers, technical experts, instructors, trainees, and others working across the fields of AI and HPC. For its part, the LRZ aims to increase particular visibility for its European members and other interested parties.

The annual TPC Conference in Baltimore will take place from May 31 to June 3 this year. The first two days will feature a hackathon, while the general conference is scheduled from June 1 to June 3. During the PTC26, leading voices in artificial intelligence are brought together from various organizations from research and industry to share their knowledge.

The goal of this event is to collaborate on effective approaches and best practices for applying AI to large-scale scientific research and engineering challenges. A complete list of all participating organizations can be found via the official website.
