For researchers with larger AI projects that are not fully covered by the basic compute time provided by BayernKI, there is another option: A new call for projects on the GCS (Gauss Centre for Supercomputing) systems will open soon. To support this, the AI support teams from FZJ/JSC, LRZ, and HLRS are organizing an info event for scientists interested in AI-related projects on the GCS supercomputers, including:
- JUPITER with about 24,000 NVIDIA GH200 Superchips in 6000 nodes
- JUWELS Booster with 3,744 A100 GPUs
- SuperMUC-NG with 960 Intel Ponte Vecchio Data Center GPUs
- Hunter with 752 MI300A APUs
The call will be open from July 7 to August 11, 2025.
